About Our FRC Team
Metuchen Momentum is a 501(c)(3) organization that fosters STEM for students in Metuchen. We have teams at Metuchen High School and Edgar Middle school. We cover FIRST Lego League (FLL), FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC), and FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC).
Our teams include many students and mentors of different backgrounds and abilities. One of our missions is to create a welcoming and stimulating environment where anyone can cultivate their interests in STEM. Our FRC team comprises over 30 Metuchen High School students from all four grade levels (9th-12th grade) and ten mentors from many fields.
Our FRC team's five sub-teams include mechanical, electrical, computer-aided design (CAD), programming, safety, and business. Every team member has the opportunity to join multiple sub-teams and, with the aid of our knowledgeable mentors, can further develop their understanding and curiosity for robotics.
Above all, here at Metuchen Momentum, our main priority is teamwork and exhibiting Gracious Professionalism®. Team 7587 strives to create and maintain a safe environment for anyone to discover their passion for robotics.
